U14 vs GNG Amber

Today’s match was a true testament to the "Macklins Spirit." Facing off against a strong GNG Amber side, our U14s proved that it’s not just about the numbers on the scoreboard, but the heart you bring to the court.

The headline of today’s game was the incredible determination of our squad. Due to a string of late illnesses and injuries, the U14s took to the court with only 6 players.

Playing a high-speed game like netball one player down is an exhausting physical challenge, yet our girls never lowered their heads. They covered the extra ground with a massive amount of "heart and desire," showing exactly what it means to play for the badge. Their growth and improvement since the start of the season are undeniable!

Captain’s Performance: Player of the Match

A massive congratulations to Abi, our newly appointed Summer League Captain for Macklins u14s, who was named Player of the Match.

Abi’s performance in defence was nothing short of fantastic. Her leadership truly shone through today; even when the legs were getting tired, she kept the communication high and led by example. Her intercepts and tactical awareness were a highlight of the match—a perfect start to her captaincy!
